In Guiyang, Guizhou, there is a place where you can get the feeling of ancient Greece. It is the Denggaoyunshan Forest Park. This Park is located in the northeast of Guiyang between Qianling Mountain and Nanyue Mountain Range with a total planned area of 135.8 hectares. The park was opened in the fall of 2017. And since then, it is getting more and more popular because of its unique charateristic. The architecture of Denggaoyunshan Forest Park is reminiscent of the gardens in the mythology of ancient Greece.

公园首次开放是在2017年的秋天。从那时起，这里不同于其他公园的氛围,每天都会吸引很多人前来。登高云山森林公园的建筑让人想起了古希腊的神话中描述的花园。

This park has a romantic Greek-style terrace in front of the entrance with columns, elaborate statues, vases and gorgeous landscaping. With its exquisite proportion, toursits can see the beauty of balance, rhythm and symmetry.

这个公园的入口前面有一个浪漫的希腊风格的露台，有柱子、精致的雕像、花瓶和华丽的景观。建筑精致的比例，即使对于普通人而言，也可以看到它的平衡、节奏和对称之美。

Walking through the park, you feel like the heroine of a novel enjoying yourself and surrounding by the nature. It"s as if you travelled into the novel of Jane Austen or Charlotte Brontë. Embraced by elegant statues and majestic columns, you may begin to feel like the center of some very important chapters. Thus, there was only one idea coming into my mind that was “I should dress up to match this place” ...

Aristotle, an ancient Greek philosopher, believed that gardens and parks would make people happy. Climbing the Denggaoyunshan Forest Park do make people feel relaxed. Many people come here every day, some with their children and families, and you can also see lovers in the park, or aunties who dance, or make videos. This park is also one of the most favorite place for photographers, many wedding photos are taken here.

Denggaoyunshan Forest Park is also known as the most beautiful rose garden in Guiyang. Every year from May to June, the park is filled with the sweet and intoxicating scent of roses. Roses really are fit for this place because they are the symbol of beauty, perfection, joy, love, happiness, pride, wisdom, silence and mystery.

With the feature of tenderness and pride, roses are in the central stage of myths and legends. Aphrodite, the goddess of love, loved to wear the rose in her hair. Not surprisingly, it is the most common flower in Greek gardens, and is the symbolic scenery of the Denggaoyunshan Forest Park.

This park is beautiful in every season. In spring, there is the subtle scent of cherry trees. In summer, the park is dominated by roses. In autumn, you can enjoy the changing hues of the leaves, and in winter it is nice to hike along the trails where you can see the beautiful scenery and wait for the warmer days to come.
